Another year has flown by and now all that is left are the memories!
NOT SO!!!! I hate memories!! I can't always remember things too well so I take lots of photos.

I'm working on the videos but noticed that I wasn't able to video some nights and my team doesn't pick up the camera while I'm still playing soooo.
I think that's why i like a 5 man roster because it gives me at least one chance to get some videos taken of our opponents that night.
For all of you people that grumble every time I ask for a team photo, thanks for eventually posing because I think it's a little foolish myself now but 20 years down the road I think that looking back at all the photos will be nice.
So keep moaning and complaining and i will keep asking.
Funny thing is, the ones that moan and grumble are the ones I see looking through the albums the most when I bring them around our events.

This Thursday is our last week of play. This summer has gone very quick.
I hope that everyone has had a great summer playing in our league and I hope to see all players return next year. Their is talk of new teams being formed from existing teams and talk of new teams joining us and also talk of old teams wanting to get back to playing with us. Only time will tell what happens. I will be working to fill the roster and avoid any bye weeks next year. I have commitments from people right now but you never can tell whats going to happen over the winter months to those commitments. Only time will tell.
I hope to see everyone on Sept. 17th at our annual picnic. Last year it was raining the morning of the picnic but cleared just in time for us to have a successful event.
Talk about close! Things are very tight in the Red division this year with the White division still putting a lot of pressure on the Red division. If things keep going the way they have been, the top team in the white division can end up 4th over all or higher. Rockin' Rollers are only 8 games out of first.
In another note, I just walked into The Moose Lodge here in McHenry and talked to a gentleman in charge and they are interested in sponsoring a team and said that they have four guys ready to play and hopes of maybe 4 more. They would need to add lighting and that's about it there. Pits seem to be up to our leagues specifications already. I will keep everyone informed as things progress with filling the empty slots for next year.
We have entered into the last 8 weeks of play and our season is drawing nearer to it's end.
Things we need to consider are, where we all want to hold our annual picnic.
We also need everyone to think about who is deserving of being inducted into the hall of fame this year at our annual picnic.
Please take a moment and drop me a line and nominate someone that you think deserves this honor.
The hall of fame committee will be meeting soon to decide who will be receiving this honor so don't just think about who's name you would like to see on the trophy but make it happen by letting us know through the nomination form.
Fill it out and send it to me.
All nominations will be considered.
Last years nominated player was sent in by one of his teammates and we all agreed that George was a great choice.
